What Is the Uplifting Futures Collective
The Uplifting Futures Collective is the youth program of the Be Uplifted Foundation. It provides mentorship and leadership development for young people from single parent households who need consistent guidance, development, and community support.
Through structured programming, participants are equipped with the confidence, discipline, and tools they need to grow personally, lead with purpose, and pursue their future with clarity.
We serve youth through two focused collectives, each designed specifically for the young people it serves.
One Initiative. Two Collectives.
The Uplifting Futures Collective delivers mentorship and leadership development through two programs. The Uplifting Her Collective serves young women and the Uplifting Him Collective serves young men. Same structure. Same standards. Designed for each.
Uplifting Her Collective
A leadership and empowerment program for girls ages 12 to 18 from single parent households and underserved communities. Led by Co-Founder and Founding Program Lead Lataya Hines.
Through a structured cohort beginning with an introductory session followed by 6 weeks of intentional programming, participants develop confidence, leadership skills, and life preparation tools that equip them to thrive personally, academically, and in their future.

Uplifting Him Collective
A leadership and development program for boys ages 12 to 18 from single parent households and underserved communities.
Through a structured cohort beginning with an introductory session followed by 6 weeks of intentional programming, participants develop confidence, leadership skills, and the personal foundations needed to grow into purpose driven young men.

How the Program Works
7 Sessions Total — 1 Intro Session plus 6 Weekly Sessions
15 to 20 Participants Per Cohort
Both initiatives follow the same cohort structure, beginning with an introductory session followed by 6 weeks of intentional programming designed to move young people from uncertainty to clarity.
